Bar stools, or counter stools, can be practical, and they're decorative as well! When decorating with bar stools, create a cohesive feel by choosing stools that mimic qualities of existing furniture. Or, mix things up by adding stools that contrast with, and complement, your existing design scheme.
And don't forget: ensure comfort by giving your bar stools space. Unlike traditional seating, your legs may not be tucked under a table when seated at a bar stool. Place stools a minimum of 24 inches apart to allow personal space and leg room.
